RESNA: The Assistive Technology and Rehabilitation Engineering Society
of North America

RESNA is the primary professional organization for those who work with wheelchairs. Its members include engineers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech pathologists and who are committed to rehabilitation technology and practice.

RESNA offers:

• Credentialing to assistive technology providers and suppliers,
• A directory of certified practitioners,
• Continuing education events,
• Links to the State Tech Act Projects, and
• Special Interest Groups (SIGs) which use Internet listserves to support AT practice and solution of clinical problems.

Check out the RESNA Bookstore which has a listing of many publications about assistive technology.

The Annual Conference and Exhibition offers scholarships to consumers and the exhibit hall at this conference is always open to consumers and persons with disabilities. This year's conference is in Reno, Nevada.
