This presentation is intended to provide an overview the voluntary industry standard for wheelchair tiedown and occupant restraint devices (WTORS). The presentation emphasizes that work being done under the auspices of the International Standards Organization (ISO). References are given to both SAE ( USA) and CSA ( Canada) versions of the same WTORS development efforts that have taken place both in both countries.
